Modifying Sessions
1In the Session Configuration Table window, click next to the session you want to modify.
The Modify Session Entry window displays.
2To modify the subscriber name, type a name in the Subscriber box to identify this session.
3To modify the admin status, in the Admin Status box, select the desired setting.
Up enables the session. Down disables the session.
4To modify the encapsulation mode, in the Encap box, select the desire setting (LLC_SNAP,
VC_MUX_Routed or VC_MUX_Bridged).
The encapsulation mode must match the encapsulation mode used by the adjacent segments
in the network. The encapsulation mode is automatically set to VC-MUX_Bridged for
PVCs that use SDSL cards, and cannot be modified.
5To modify the service type, in the Service Type box, select or clear the checkbox to indicate
the desired service. To configure the session for both bridging and routing, select both
checkboxes.
