Turning On Limit Lines and Limit Testing

Step 1. Click Trace on the menu bar. When the Trace menu appears, scroll down to the Limit Test... button and click it as shown in Figure 5-8. The Limit Test window shown in Figure 5-9will pop up.

Step 2. Click the Limit Test ON and Limit Line ON boxes. The result is shown in Figure 5-12.

Step 3. Click the Hide Table button, then click the OK button. The result is shown in Figure 5-13. The trace shown in the figure is an S21 measurement of the Electronic Calibration (ECal) module. Notice that the ECal module does not meet the insertion loss specifications of the test set.
