Verify that the individual logging in is registered on the system.

Repeat the log in procedure but press the buttons more slowly.

Check to see if the password being used is correct. If the password is incorrect, determine if the user has been denied access (the System Manager changed the password) before allowing access.

Check to see if there is space available in the user’s mailbox. If not, have the user clean up the mailbox.

Also check to see if there is space available on the disk. Run the Message Space Usage Report and press End or PgDn to the last page to determine the space left on the disk.
