Error codes and front panel messages
A numeric code may appear in the front panel message area when the printer detects an error. Try cycling power on the printer. If that does not solve the problem, then call your dealer or Tektronix for assistance at
Some messages, such as STANDBY, provide status information only. Those messages do not require user intervention. Other messages, such as JAM — OUTPUT TRAY, require you to perform some action such as remove a paper jam.
Caution To avoid damaging the printer, do not turn the printer off when any of the following messages appear in the front panel message area: Busy Cleaning Head, Printing, or Utilities, unless you turn the printer back on within
5 minutes.
