Printing from a Macintosh

To print from a Macintosh, you need a printer driver. Installing one of the supported drivers allows you to select printing features right from your computer. Without a supported driver, you can make some printing selections using the printer’s rear panel switches.

Using Macintosh printer drivers

To select printer-specific features, print from one of the following provided drivers. Refer to page 3-12 for the Macintosh “Print features quick reference” table for a list of the printing features and how to find them quickly in each of these drivers.

Using the printer’s rear panel switches

Refer to “Rear panel switches” on page 7-5 for instructions on changing the color correction mode with the rear panel switches. Refer to the Phaser 300X Drivers and Utilities Printing Reference for detailed information on using the rear panel switches to change other print features.
