Printing with PCL5

In PCL5 mode (HP LaserJet III emulation), the printer supports Courier, Times, and Universe typefaces in the following styles and stroke weights: bold medium, italic medium, and bold italic.

To use a PCL5 application, you must customize PCL5 and set up a printer port with the appropriate automatic language selection utility file (refer to the Phaser 300X Drivers and Utilities Printing Reference for information about utility files).

Printing with HP-GL

1.Change the printer’s language from PostScript to HP-GL. (Refer to the Phaser 300X Drivers and Utilities Printing Reference for details on how to change the language.)

2.Set up the printing options in your HP-GL application by selecting a printer driver that supports the HP 7475A plotter.

3.Print from your HP-GL application as usual.

Printing PostScript
