MS-DOS Under Simul-Task and UNIX System
Operation
If you plan to use MS-DOS under Simul-Task 386 or to use only the UNIX system for the operation of the IPC-1600, skip Chapter 2. Start with Chapter 3, “UNIX System Device Driver Installation,” and follow the instructions for the installation of the software. Then install the IPC-1600 board per Chapter 4, “Hardware Installation.”
Native MS-DOS Operation
If you plan to use only native MS-DOS for the operation of the IPC-1600s, start with Chapter 2, “MS-DOS Device Driver Installation,” and follow the instructions for the installation of the software and hardware. Skip Chapter 3.
