Each Access Servic e comes with a de fault settings te mplate.
The template values can be changed from the “Settings/Acce ss
Services” page; see F igure 67.

The template values are automatically app lied to new target s that have
the Access Service assigned to them.
For example, there is a d efault value for th e application path of an
Access Service. If t his is suitable, e nsure that all us ers have the Acce ss
Service application in the same path o n their computer. Whe re a user
computer has a differ ent path, a prompt appears on the user’s computer
asking the user to brows e for the Access Service applic ation on
his computer.

Below are the factory- included Access Services and their default value s.
If these values are not suitable, you can change them. If a n Access
Service has an execut able application, the application must be installe d
on all local computer s.
11.1.1 General note about appl ication pat hs
When inputting the app lication path into the OmniView IP 50 00HQ client
interface, you can inc lude variables. Fo r example, for an A ccess Service
called“ABCservice,”typ ing“%ProgramFiles%\ABCser vice”caninstall
theapplicationinanyd riveonclientcomputer sintheProgramFiles\
ABCservice folder.
