Dataﬁll sequence and implications

The following tables must be dataﬁlled before table LIUINV:

•PMLOADS

•LIMINV

•CARRMTC

•SUSHELF

•LIMPTINV (LIM-based LIU)

•MSCDINV (MS-based LIU)

You must dataﬁll the EIU in table LIUINV before dataﬁlling it in table

IPHOST.

Table 11 lists the ﬁelds and value ranges used to dataﬁll an EIU in table

LIUINV.

CAUTION

Possible loss of service

Table LIUINV requires that you datafill a unique media access control (MAC) address for each EIU. Obtain these MAC addresses from Nortel. Using an arbitrary address for an EIU may result in loss of connectivity with the Ethernet network.
