5 Check the paper output receiver and paper output extension.

The paper output receiver paper guide must be adjusted to the paper size.

If you are going to print on paper larger than A4 or Letter size, pull out the paper output tray extension.

The extension has two positions for large paper. You can simply pull out the paper output tray extension (A), or you can also pull out the entire paper output tray (paper cassette lid) with the paper output tray extension extended for very large sizes (B).

Before you start a long print job, make sure the paper size and orienta- tion of the paper in the sheet feeder matches the size and orientation of the paper loaded in the paper cassette. Then use the printer driver to set the paper source for automatic selection.

The sheet feeder can hold up to 100 sheets of standard (64 gsm) Plain Paper. After it runs out of paper, paper feed will automatically contin- ue from the paper cassette which can hold 250 sheets of standard (64 gsm) Plain Paper.

If the optional cassette is installed in the printer, after the standard cas- sette runs out of paper, paper feed will automatically continue from the optional paper cassette which can also hold 250 sheets of standard (64 gsm) Plain Paper.

During a long print job, do not allow the printed sheets to stack higher than 15 mm (about 1/2 inch), approximately 50 sheets of Plain Paper or 40 sheets of High Resolution Paper HR-101.
