6Position the fan in the fan housing.
7Lower the replacement fan into the housing until it snaps into place.
Removing a Back System Fan Housing

1Ensure power is removed.
2Open the system. See "Removing the Top Cover" on page 60.
3Remove memory risers. See "Removing a Memory Riser" on page 96.
4Remove applicable back system fans. See "Removing a Back System Fan" on page 72.
5Pull the fan housing latch forward and lift back system fan housing clear of the chassis.
