To remove a DIMM

CAUTION

Handling a DIMM without wearing a grounded, antistatic device might damage the DIMM. Do not touch the contacts on the side of the DIMM.

1Switch off the power (220V product only), and unplug the product.

2Open the print cartridge door and the left side panel.

3To unlock the cam latches, press them outward (A). Grasp the DIMM on the edge, gently pull straight out, and remove the DIMM from the printer (B).

Note

Store the DIMM in an antistatic bag.

4Close the left side panel and the print cartridge door.

5Plug the product back in. If you have a 220V product, switch on the power.
