Tray 2, Tray 3, or Tray 4 nondetectable standard sizes
Trays 2, 3, and 4 can also use several standard sizes that are not automatically detected by the printer. These sizes are 11 by 17 inches, ISO B5, JIS Executive, JIS DPostcard, 8K, and 16K. Envelope sizes are not supported in Trays 2, 3, or 4.
To use a nondetectable standard size, move the tray switch to Custom and follow the steps below.
1. | Press | to enter the MENUS. |
2. | Press | to highlight PAPER HANDLING. |
3. | Press | to select PAPER HANDLING. |
4. | Press | to highlight TRAY 2 SIZE, TRAY 3 SIZE, or TRAY 4 SIZE. |
5. | Press | to select TRAY 2 SIZE, TRAY 3 SIZE, or TRAY 4 SIZE. |
6. | Press | or to highlight the desired paper size. |
7. | Press | to select the paper size. |
8. | Press PAUSE/RESUME to return to the Ready state. |

| Tray 1 is a multipurpose tray that holds up to 100 sheets of paper or 20 envelopes. It |
| provides a convenient way to print envelopes, transparencies, |
| types of paper without having to unload the other trays. |
