Clearing Staple Jams

1Turn off the mopier and remove the Left Output Bin.

2Open the stapler unit cover.

3Press the colored tab with your thumb and pull the colored circular tab with your forefinger to open the stapler.

4Remove loose or damaged staples from the stapler head.

5Push the circular tab to snap it back into place.

6Close the stapler unit cover and replace the Left Output Bin.

7Clear all paper paths that may have jammed as a result of the jammed staples.

N o t e

After clearing a stapler jam, up to 12 documents may not be stapled when printing resumes because the stapler must reload. Once the unit begins stapling again, either manually staple the unstapled documents or resend the job.
