Clearing the Mailbox with Stapler

1Turn off the mopier and remove the Left Output Bin.

2Refer to (A) in Figure 7-9 and clear paper from the jammed area by carefully pulling it out, away from the mopier.

3Pull the mailbox away from the mopier and check the area illustrated in (B). Carefully remove all scraps.

4Also check the fuser area, illustrated in (C).

N o t e	After removing a sheet of paper you may need to check other areas to
	ensure that all paper has been removed. Whenever a sheet of jammed
	paper becomes badly shredded, it is a good idea to carefully piece all
	parts together to be sure you have not overlooked some small part. All
	portions of a jammed piece of paper must be removed or you may run
	into repeated jams.
