Domain Controller. This will promote the BDC to the PDC function, and demote the PDC to be the BDC.
You can then take the BDC (which was the original PDC) offline, and reinstall it, specifying the correct HAL.
Once the installation is complete, use Server Manager again to promote your newly installed server back to being the PDC and restore all missing data and applications.
