Output misfeed

1Open the document cover and turn the release knob to remove the misfed documents from the exit area.

2Close the document cover, and then load the documents back into the ADF.

Roller misfeed

1Open the document cover and turn the release knob to so that you can easily access the misfed document.

2Remove the document from the ADF or the feed area by carefully pulling it with both hands.

3Close the document cover, and then load the document back into the ADF.
