SCSI Description

		Maxtor-Unique Page-Field Descriptions (Page 39h)
		Parameters Savable. This bit is only used with the MODE SENSE command.

		a MODE SELECT command.
WaitSpinUp	0	When this field = 0, the disk drive spins up upon power on. When this field

		FORMAT UNIT command. Note that if the setting in Byte 2 of FORMAT

Data Pattern		When this field = 1, the disk drive writes the data pattern that is specified
		in Byte 2 of the FORMAT UNIT command into every user-accessible block
		when the disk drive executes a FORMAT UNIT command.
Disable	1	When this field = 0, SCAM is enabled. When this field = 1, SCAM features
SCAM	(Parallel)	are disabled.
		When this field = 0, a UNIT ATTENTION condition exists following power
		on or a reset caused by either a BUS DEVICE RESET message or a hard reset

Att’n		When this field = 1, the disk drive will not issue a CHECK CONDITION sta-
		tus with the UNIT ATTENTION sense key on the first command following a
		reset. The disk drive will execute the first command issued after a reset con-
		dition.
		Software Selectable SCSI ID Enable. When this field = 0, the disk drive’s
		SCSI ID is determined via the disk drive’s hardware ID select jumper set-

		When this field = 1, the disk drive’s SCSI ID setting is determined by the
		value set in the Software Selectable SCSI ID field (Byte 3, bits 0 – 3).
Disable	0	When this field = 0, the Auto WRITE function is enabled.
Auto WRITE		When this field = 1, the Auto WRITE function is disabled.
Disable	0	When this field = 0, the Auto WRITE function is enabled.
Auto READ		When this field = 1, the Auto WRITE function is disabled.
		When this field = 0, Delay Spin is not enabled.
