Parameters Savable. This bit is only used with t he MODE SENSE com-

mand. A r et urned val ue o f 1 i ndicate s that the ta rget i s c apable o f savi ng

the page in a non-volatile, vendor-specific location. The bit is reserved

with the MODE SELECT command.

IdlEnb 0 Enable Idle Time r. This is a lower power c onsumption state of the drive.

A media ac cess command w aits for an a pprox imately one second tra nsi-

tion time delay from the IDLE to th e ACTIVE state.

SbyEnb 0 Enable Standby Timer. Any media a ccess command wait s for an approxi-

mately 10 second transition t ime delay fro m the STANDBY to the ACTIVE

state.

Idle Timer 0

The Idle Time r specifie s the time , i n 100-millisecond increments, before

enter ing the IDL E state af ter t he last media access comman d. The I dlEnb

fie ld must be set t o 1. The int ernal mini mum value f or this fie ld is 60 sec -

onds.

Standby

Timer 0

The Standby Ti me r speci fies the time, in 100-mill ise cond increments, be-

fore entering the Standby state after the last media access command. The

SbyEnb f ield must be set to 1. The inte rnal minimum value fo r this field is

15 minutes.
