The WRI TE SAM E command requests that the drive write the single sector of data
transferred by the initiator to the medium multiple times. The data format and field
descriptions are shown in Table 5-222 and Table 5-223 respectively.

LBdata Logical Block Data. – A value of 1 requests that the drive replace the firs t four
bytes of the data to be written to the current logical sector with the logical sector
address of the sector currently being written.

Number of

This field contains the number of contiguous logical blocks that are to be written.
A value of 0 requests tha t all the remaining logical block s on the medium are to
