5Pull out any paper caught in the
fusing unit.
CAUTION
The area around the fusing unit is extremely hot.
➜Touching anything other than
the indicated levers and dials
may result in burns. If you get
burnt, immediately cool the skin
under cold water, and then
seek professional medical
attention.

If the paper is caught as described below, contact your technical
representative.
The paper is wrapped around the fusing unit.
The paper is folded or shredded by the fusing unit.
The paper that was removed tore and remains in the fusing unit.
6Grasp the tab on the left end of the
fusing unit cover, and then return
the cover to its original position .
7Close the upper right-side door.
8Close the right-side door.
