5.2 Specifying Default Settings (“User’s Choice” Functions)

To set the “Key Repeat Start Time/Interval” function

The length of time until the repeat feature for a key starts when a key in the touch panel is held down can be specified. (The default setting for the start time is 0.8 second and the default setting for the repeat interval is 0.1 second.)

For more details, refer to “Repeat Feature for Keys” in “Before Making Copies” of the Enlarge Display Operations volume.

Note

The settings for the repeat feature are only applied in the Enlarge Display mode; they are not applied when the screen is displayed normally.

1Press the [Utility] key.

2Touch [User’s Choice: 1].

3Touch [Key Repeat Start Time/Interval].

4Touch [] and [] to specify the desired length of time until the repeat feature for a key starts (between 0.1 and 3.0 seconds).

5Touch [Enter].

6Touch [Fin. Time], and then touch [Fin. Time] again in the screen that appears.
