6Choose Run SEL Viewer Utility and click Continue. Result: The SEL Viewer screen appears.

7Use the arrow keys to scroll through the system events. The details of the currently selected event appear on the bottom of the screen.

8When you finish viewing events, select File > Exit from the menu bar.

Result: The Intel GUI appears.

9Click Exit to close the GUI.

To save system event logs to a USB media drive

1Connect a USB drive media to the USB port on the front of the server.

2Restart the server.

3Display the SEL Viewer. Refer to “To view system event logs” on page 193.

4Select File > Save as.

5Enter the file name and destination (usually a:) to save the system event logs to the USB media drive.

To clear system event logs

1Display the SEL Viewer. Refer to “To view system event logs” on page 193.

2Select SEL > Clear SEL from the menu bar. Result: The list of events is now empty.

3Select File > Exit from the menu bar. Result: The Intel GUI appears.

4Click Exit to close the GUI.
