Monitoring multimedia hardware

Start

If the selected component is out of service, click

 

this button to put it into service.

 

 

Courtesy

Click this button to take the selected component out

Stop

of service. CallPilot waits for calls to be completed

 

before disabling the component.

 

ATTENTION

 

If you are courtesy stopping all components (that is,

 

you are taking the entire system down), ensure that

 

you inform all administrators, desktop messaging

 

users, and Web messaging users so that they can

 

log off their sessions before you proceed.

 

The system asks you to confirm the courtesy stop.

 

If you click OK, the component is put out of service

 

after all calls are finished.

 

 

Stop

Click this button to take the selected component out

 

of service immediately. All calls that are in progress

 

are disconnected immediately.

 

ATTENTION

 

If you are stopping all components (that is, you are

 

taking the entire system down), ensure that you

 

inform all administrators, desktop messaging users,

 

and Web messaging users so that they can log off

 

their sessions before you proceed.
