4Enter 3 to run Utilities (BIOS, Firmware, etc...) from the Startup
Menu. If the Startup Menu is not displayed, refer to “To display the
Nortel CallPilot Image Menu” on page 187.
5Enter 2 to run 1005r server FRU/SDR firmware update from the
Nortel CallPilot Image Menu.
Result: The system prompts you to confirm the FRU update.
6Enter Y to confirm.
Result: The FRU/SDR update progress dialog box appears with the
following message:
System will now reboot.
Press any key to continue...
7Enter any key.
Result: The system reboots and the Startup Menu appears.
8Enter 3 to run Utilities (BIOS, Firmware, etc...) from the Startup
Menu. If the Startup Menu is not displayed, refer to “To display the
Nortel CallPilot Image Menu” on page 187.
9Enter 3 to run 1005r server Board Management Controller (BMC)
firmware update from the Nortel CallPilot Image Menu.
Result: The system prompts you to confirm the BMC update.
10 Enter Y to confirm.
Result: The BMC update progress dialog box appears with the
following message:
System will now reboot.
Press any key to continue...
11 Remove the Image DVD from the DVD combo drive and enter any
key.
Result: The system reboots.
12 The BIOS upgrade is complete.
