Restarting an AP

To restart an AP access port, use the following command:

reset {ap port-list dap dap-num}

Use the reset ap command to reset an AP access point configured on an AP access port. Use the reset dap command to reset a Distributed AP.

When you enter one of these commands, the AP access point drops all sessions and reboots.

Warning! Restarting an AP can cause data loss for users who are currently associated with the AP.

Displaying AP Information

You can display the following AP information:

AP and radio-specific configuration settings

List of Distributed APs configured in the Mobility Domain

List of Distributed APs that are not configured on a WSS

Connection information for Distributed APs

Service profile information

Radio profile information

Status information

Statistics counters
