Port Replicator

You can use an optional port replicator (For CF-53 Series: CF-VEB531/For CF-52 Series: CF-VEB522). This device frees you from being bothered by a lot of cable connections when you carry the computer. It also allows you to connect various peripherals.

Connect the port replicator to the expansion bus connector (A) on the bottom of the computer. For further information, refer to the instruction manual of the port replicator.

N O T E

- Use only the specified port replicator (For CF-53 Series: CF-VEB531/For CF-52 Series: CF- VEB522).

-Hot or warm docking/undocking is not possible with the port replicator.

-To boot the computer from a USB floppy disk drive or a USB CD/DVD drive, be sure to connect the USB drive to the USB port on the computer, not to the USB port on the port replicator.

If you use an external display compatible with "DISPLAY PORT", connect it to a "DISPLAY PORT" on an optional port replicator (CF-VEB522) using a cable compatible with "DISPLAY PORT".
