"There was an error updating the registry" appears when Sound Recorder is started.

2.Remove the check mark from [Play Windows Startup sound].

Sound Recorder is started by a limited account user whose language setting is not the same as the administrator user who last started Sound Recorder. This does not affect the operation.

Keyboard

Only numbers can be input.

Only capital letters can be input.

Cannot enter special characters (ß, à, ç, etc.) and symbols.

When the indicator is on, the keyboard is in ten-key mode. Press «NumLk» to cancel.

When the indicator is on, the keyboard is in Caps Lock mode. Press «Caps Lock» to cancel.

Use the character map. Click (Start)*2 - [All Programs] - [Accessories] - [System Tools] - [Character Map].

Disc Operation

The CD/DVD drive does not work normally.

Cannot play back TV programs recorded on a commercial DVD recorder.

A blue background appears on the screen when playing an MPEG image.

The CD/DVD drive vibrates excessively or makes noise.

Cannot eject a disc.

Set [Optical Drive] to [Enabled] in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility.

Clean the lens (CD/DVD drive handling care).

Check the disc condition (Disc handling care).

Finalize the disc on the DVD recorder when the program was recorded in video mode on DVD-R/RW or in VR mode on DVD- RW.

You opened the CD/DVD drive or removed the MPEG disc while it was operating. Re-insert the MPEG disc and close the CD/DVD drive.

Insert the disc correctly.

Check the disc condition (Disc handling care).

When writing to CD-R/RW using Roxio Creator LJB, you can minimize vibration while writing by using the writing speed at [10x] or less.

Turn on the computer.
