7.Others

Whether or not you need to configure the computer with these options depends primarily on the kind of software or peripherals you use.

(a)Power-up Mode

Use this option to choose between resume and boot mode. This potion can also be set by hotkeys.

Boot

Turns on boot mode. (Default)

Resume

Turns on resume mode.

(b)CPU Cache

Use this option to enable or disable the CPU cache.

Enabled

Enables the CPU cache. (Default)

Disabled

Disables the CPU cache.

(c)Level 2 Cache

Use this option to enable or disable the level 2 cache. When "CPU Cache" is set to "Disabled", this option cannot be changed.

Enabled

Enables the level 2 cache. (Default)

Disabled

Disables the level 2 cache.

(d)Dynamic CPU Frequency mode

Use this option to choose a setting from the followings. When the CPU of the computer is Celeron, this option is not displayed.

Dynamically Switchable

 

Enables Pentium 4 processor featuring Intel SpeedStep

 

technology.

Always High

Disables Pentium 4 processor featuring Intel SpeedStep

 

technology and always runs the processor at its

 

maximum speed.

Always Low

Disables Pentium 4 processor featuring Intel SpeedStep

 

technology and always runs the processor at its default

 

speed.
