3.4 System Test 3 Tests and Diagnostics

3.4System Test

To execute the System Test, select 1 from the DIAGNOSTIC TEST MENU, press Enter and follow the directions on the screen. Move the highlight bar to the subtest you want to execute and press Enter.

Subtest 01	ROM Checksum
	This subtest executes a checksum test of the BIOS ROM (range: F0000h to
	FFFFFh) on the System Board.
Subtest 02	Geyserville
	This subtest confirms the CPU clock can be changed. When the CPU of the
	computer is Celeron, the following message appears:
	*** This chip is not supported. ***
Subtest 04	Fan On/Off
	This subtest turns on/off the fan motor by force with Fan ON/OFF commands.
	The following message will appear. Make sure the fan does not rotate and
	press Enter.
	*** Test Fan Revolution 0000RPM Start
	The following message will appear. Make sure the fan rotates at low speed
	and press Enter.
	*** Test Fan Revolution Low speed Start
	The following message will appear. Make sure the fan rotates at high speed
	and press Enter.
	*** Test Fan Revolution High speed Start
Subtest 05	Thermister Check
	This subtest reads the status (normal/open/short) of the [Thermister connect
	check] of the PS micon. When it is not normal, an error message is displayed.
	When it is normal, the display returns to the main menu.
Subtest 06	Quick charge
	This subtest checks the status for the quick charge.
