1.5CD-ROM Drive

The CD-ROM drive accommodates either 12 cm (4.72-inch) or 8 cm (3.15-inch) CD. It is a high-performance drive that reads at maximum 24-speed (3,600 KB per second).

The CD-ROM drive is shown in Figure 1-5. The specifications of the CD-ROM drive are described in Table 1-5.
