1.7Combo Drive

The Combo drive accommodates either 12 cm (4.72-inch) or 8 cm (3.15-inch) CD, CD- R/RW and DVD. It is a high-performance drive that reads DVD at maximum 8-speed, and reads CD at maximum 24-speed (3,600 KB per second).

The Combo drive is shown in Figure 1-7. The specifications of the Combo drive are described in Table 1-7.
