The next window lists the choices of the drivers that you can install for your scanner.

Note: If your computer is running Windows XP or Vista, Microsoft’s Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) interface for scanning is always available, regardless of your selection on this window. WIA is only available on computers running Windows XP or Vista.
■OneTouch 4.0 Scan Environment + TWAIN Driver—This is the recommended installation. It installs the OneTouch 4.0 software which provides the necessary driver software for your scanner. It also installs the scanning interface for TWAIN. Selecting this installation option means you can use either the OneTouch software, or the TWAIN interface to scan. This User Guide explains how to use both methods to scan.
■TWAIN Driver—Only the TWAIN driver is installed. You will only be able to scan using the TWAIN interface. You will not be able to use the OneTouch software.
