Important Notes and Restrictions

MagicGate Memory Stick is not supported.

Image files other than files in Exif format (JPEG and TIFF files created on computers) cannot be printed.

If an image file in Exif format is edited or saved on a computer, the file format is changed and no longer remains in Exif format.

Do not save image files and document files in the same medium.

A media card containing over 900 files may not be detected properly.

In Media Print - Text mode, PDF files or TIFF files stored in folders cannot be printed.

PDF files stored on Mac OS cannot be printed and displayed on the screen.

If characters not supported by the machine are used in file names, the file names will not be displayed on the screen.

Characters up to 255 can be recognized as a file name. However, not more than 100 characters will be displayed.

Use media formatted by digital cameras or computers (FAT12, 16, 32 only).

Only use media recommended by Xerox. For the information on recommended media, contact our Customer Support Center.

If anything is wrong with a media card, the process aborts within a few minutes and an error message appears.

Before powering off the WorkCentre 7328/7335/7345, be sure to eject the media card.

Inserting and Ejecting Media

To insert or eject a media card, follow the procedure below:

CAUTION: Do not press the Eject Button, pull out the USB cable, or power off the machine when the Access Indicator light is illuminated. Data stored on the media card may be damaged.

1.Before ejecting the medium, touch the antistatic label.

2.Press the Eject button, and then pull out the media card.

Selecting and Printing Text Files

To Select and Print Text Files:

1.Insert the media card into the Media Slot of the Media Card Reader.

2.Press the All Services button.

3.Touch the Media Print – Text icon.

4.After the files are imported, touch the appropriate button. You can choose from:

Select All

Select from List

Select Range

5.Touch the Media Print Text and Advanced Settings tabs as required to change any appropriate print settings.

6.Press the Start button.
