9. SystemUtilities
Displays the Utilities Menu, which contains the following
submenus and commands that either upgrade the ACOS
software or support ACOS application development.
Except for Ping Utility and Trace Route, these commands
are only for application development, software upgrades or to
restore factory defaults.
You must restart the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module for
any changes to take effect. For more information on
restarting the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module, see the
“PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module basics” chapter.

P. Ping Utility

Uses the Ping protocol to check for the presence of a host on
the Internet.
Type the following information, and then press ENTER:
IP address or complete host name to Ping**
Ping packet size
Number of times to Ping
** You must enter the domain name with the host name. For
example, mycomputer.mydomain.com.
The PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module displays a default or
last-used value in parentheses to the left of the command
prompt. To accept this value, press ENTER.

T. Trace Route

Traces the route to a specific host.
Enter the IP address or host name** to trace, and then press
ENTER.
** You must enter the domain name with the host name. For
example, mycomputer.mydomain.com.
The PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module displays a default or
last-used value in parentheses to the left of the command
prompt. To accept this value, press ENTER.
