Enabling/disabling SNMP

To enable or disable SNMP:

1.On the Main Menu, select Configure SNMP.

The SNMP Configuration Menu displays.

2.Select Enable/Disable SNMP.

3.Do one of the following:

To enable SNMP, type E.

To disable SNMP, type D.

You must restart the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module for any changes to take effect. For more information on restarting the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module, see the “Getting started” chapter.

Configuring the System Contact

To configure the system contact:

1.On the Main Menu, select Configure SNMP. The SNMP Configuration Menu displays.
