C.Command Line Interface

For future implementation.

Displays the command line interface, which supports the following syntax and commands.

Command line syntax

The command syntax is:

COMMAND <required parameters> (optional parameters)

For example:

Set wan ip address 192.3.4.5 255.255.255.0 2 0 0 1

The required parameters are the ip address <192.3.4.5> and the netmask <255.255.255.0>.

The optional parameters are the slot (2), interface(0), port(0) and connection(2).

The command and its parameters are NOT case sensitive.

Commands

The following are the commands that are currently supported:

exit – quits the command line interface and returns to the menu system.

quit – quits the command line interface and returns to the menu system.

set ip route <IPRoute> <netmask> <IPGatewayAddress> - sets a static IP route.

set ip default route <DefautltIPaddress> - sets the default IP address.

set wan ip address <IPaddress> <netmask> (slot) (interface) (port) (connection) – sets the WAN IP address. If you do not enter any optional parameters, it finds the first available slot, interface, port and connection.

set lan ip address <IPaddress> <netmask> (slot) (interface) (port) (connection) – sets the LAN IP address. If you do not enter any optional parameters, it finds the first available slot, interface, port and connection.

set wan datalink <framerelay or atm> (slot) (interface) (port) – sets the datalink protocol to Frame Relay or ATM. . If you do not enter any optional parameters, it finds the first available slot, interface and port.

set wan framerelay dlci <dlci number> <1490 or 1483> (slot) (interface) (port) – sets the Frame Relay
