To change the password:

1.On the Main Menu, select Configure Login. The Password Configuration Menu displays.

1.Change User ID

2.Change User Password

3.Change NetMan Password

2.Select Change User Password or Change NetMan Password.

The following message displays.

Enter new Password (up to 17 characters) >

3.Type the new password, and then press ENTER.

4.Retype the new password, and then press ENTER.

You must restart the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module for any changes to take effect. For more information on restarting the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module, see the “Getting started” chapter.

You can use the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) to remotely manage the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module. The PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module currently supports the following SNMP options:

Configure System Location

Configure SNMP Community

Configure SNMP Trap Host IP Address
