2. Configure Receive Congestion Parameters

Follow the on-screen messages to enter the following receive congestion parameter information.

FECN/BECN condition set size

FECN/BECN condition clear size

FECN/BECN maximum number of bytes to store

Select your choice.

Your settings display in the Display Current Configuration command in the Reports Menu. For more information, see "Reports Menu" earlier in this chapter.

You must restart the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module for any changes to take effect. For more information on restarting the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module, see the “PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module basics” chapter.

4. Configure ATM Options (ATM)

Displays the ATM Configuration Menu, which contains the following submenus and commands to configure the ATM options.

1.Configure Payload Scrambling Enables and disables payload scrambling.

2.Configure F4 OAM VPI

Sets the F4 OAM VPI value, a value between 0 and 255. Type the VPI value, and then press ENTER.

The VPI value must match the VPI from a currently configured PVC.

3. Configure F4 OAM Type

Displays the F4 OAM Type Configuration Menu, which contains the following options to set the F4 OAM type.

0. None

4.F4 End to end OAM Select your choice.

4.Display F4 OAM Configuration Displays the F4 OAM type.

5.Send OAM Loopback

Sends an OAM Loopback cell on the port that you select.

6. Configure EmptyCells

Configures any empty cells. Type 1 to configure idle cells or 2 to configure unassigned cells.
