Tabletop Use

To set up the unit for tabletop use:

1.Remove the eight screws to detach the mounting brackets from the sides of the unit.

2.Attach one of the provided self-adhesive rubber feet to each corner of the bottom of the unit.

Button Labels

The DVS 510 is delivered with button caps pre-labeled for your convenience. However, you can replace these labels with your own button labels, if desired. Page 115 contains blank button labels. If desired, print the page and cut the labels out, write button information in each button area as desired, and insert them behind the transparent button caps. You can also create labels using the Button Label Generator software, provided with the DVS on the Extron software DVD.

Replacing Button Labels

The button assembly consists of a clear lens cap, the button label, and a white diffuser (see figure 53 on the next page).

To replace a button label:

1.Make new labels as needed, using either the blanks on page 115 or the Button Label Generator software, and cut them out.

2.Remove the button assembly by inserting a small, flat-bladed screwdriver between the button base and the diffuser to gently pry the button assembly off the button plunger.
