Symptom-to-FRU error messages

LCD

Symptom / Error		Action in Sequence
■	The LCD backlight doesn't work.	■	Run “Load Setup Defaults” using the BIOS Setup Utility, then reboot
■	The LCD is too dark.		the notebook.
■	The LCD brightness cannot be adjusted.	■	Reconnect the LCD connectors.
■	The LCD contrast cannot be adjusted.	■	Test or replace the keyboard (if contrast and brightness function key
			doesn't work).
		■	Check the LCD inverter ID.

■The LCD screen is unreadable.

■Missing pels in characters.
