7.8Pinging IPMI Controllers

The following lists the values of time to delay and number of pings that the CMM uses to determine the state of a FRU.

Variable	Description	Value
	The number of microseconds to delay between
DelayBetweenPingLoops	each ping loop. This is essentially the amount of	10000000
	time from the ping of the last IPMI Controller in	(10 seconds)
	the list to the ping of the first controller in the list.
	The number of microseconds of delay between
DelayBetweenIPMControllerPings	the ping on one controller that is in the list and	0
	the ping of the next one on the list. This delay
	does not apply after the last controller in the list.
	How many failed attempts to contact the IPMI
NumberFailedAttemptsBeforeAlert	Controller must occur prior to raising an event	3
	that communication has been lost.
