3.1.13 Alarm a nd StatusMessagesModule StatusMessages
Themodule status messages indicate how many UPS modules areincluded in the system and the present status
ofeach module.
Thefollowing status messages may appear in the module status area.
1. MOD N. A module statusmessage line is displayed for each UPS module in the system. Up to six (6)
modulesmay be included in a multi-module system. The N in them essagewill indicate a specific UPS
modulenumber, 1 through 6.
2. ON LINE. The UPS module outputcircuit breaker is closed and power from the module is availableto the
SCC.The module output is sharing the critical loadif the UPS Output Breaker is closed.
3. OFF-LINE. The UPS module output circuitbreaker is open. More specific alarm messages are displayed at
theUPS module.
4. SUM ALM. The ModuleSummary Alarm has been activated by one of the alarm messages listed in two
tablesSCC and Module Remote Monitor Indications and Other Alarms That Activate Summary
Alarmsin3.1.5 - System Configuration Screens. The specific alarm messageis displayed at the UPS
module.
5. COM FAIL.The UPS module is not communicating with the SCC. This could meanloss of power to the
UPSmodule controls, a disconnected cable, or a controllogic failure (detected by watchdog timer.Call
LiebertGlobal Services if you require assistance. Toresume communication after control power is restored,
sequencedisplay to Master Menu.
