Step 3. Manually open the UPS input circuit breaker by moving the handle tothe OFF position (Figure 8).
Returnto the Monitor/Mimic Display to verify statusof the circuit breakers. Press the AlarmReset pad t o clear
alarm messages.
Step 4. If maintenance is required on the UPS controls, turn the Control Power switch to the OFF position
(Figure 8). You may also want to open the RectifierInput Breaker (RIB), external to the UPS cabinet.
Beforeperforming any maintenance on your Liebert Series 600T UPS, observe ALL of theWARNINGS in
4.0- Maintenance.
Local Emergency Modules Off (LEMO)
TheUPS controls at the SCC include an Emergency Module Off pad (Fi gure 10, item 12). When this guarded
pad is pressed, the load is automatically transferred to the bypass line and the module output,battery, and
inputcircuit breakers trip open to isolate and shut down all the UPS modules.Control Power for indicators and
alarms remains on.
Remote Emergency Power Off (RE PO)
TheRemote Emergency Power Off control (REPO) is a switch locatedremotely from the UPS system. It will
normallybe in the same room as the critical load equipment.
The Remote Emergency Pow er Off switch removes all pow er to the critical load.
Whenyou trip the Remote Emergency Power Off switch, all UPS circuitbreakers are opened, includin g the
SystemBy pass circuit breaker (SBB). All power through the UPS is removedfrom the load. You will stillhave
power to the UPS contro ls, and you may have powe rt o the static switch.
