3.1.2 Monitor/Mimic Display Screen
FromSCC MasterMenu move the highlighted cursor to MONITOR/MIMIC DISPLAY. Press the Select pad
andthe Monitor/Mimic screen is displayed.
TheMonitor/Mimic display screen is a simplified block diagramof the UPS system. This screen gives the oper-
atoran overall view of the power flow through the UPS system. The screen consists of three major sections: the
input/UPSmetering section, the load metering section, and the statusand alarm message areas. The metered
parametervalues on the Monitor/Mimic screen are updated at one-second intervals.

Input Metering Displays
Item1 - Bypa ss Input. This blockdisplays the bypass input voltage andthe bypass input frequency. TheSystem
BypassBreaker is shown to the right of this block. The status of the circuit breakeris illustrated as open or
closed.
Item2 - UPS Input Pwr.This block displays the input voltage to the UPS modules.
Output Metering Displays
Item3 - UPS Ratings. The SCC current rating is specifiedat the top of this block. The UPS system output volt-
ageand frequency are also displayed in this block. The UPS Output Breaker is shown to the right ofthis block.
Thestatus of the circuit breaker is illustrated as open or closed.
Item 4 - Load. This block displays the total output power to the criticalload in kVA and kW.The critical load
currentper phase is also displayed in this block. Note that kW is not displayedwhen the load is on the bypass
line.
Theload block also indicates the number of modules connected and whether the UPS system isoperating in the
redundantor non-redundant mode.
Duringan overload condition, the time remaining before shutdown or transfer isdisplayed at the bottom of the
loadbox.
NOTE
Allvoltage readings are phase-to-phase measurements(A-B, B-C, and C-A). All
currentreadings are phase measurements(A, B, and C).
