Using NEC 1765 Software for AppleTalk

Displaying Available Printers
You can display a list of available printers on the network.
1.Open the NEC 1765 software by
2.Select the current AppleTalk Zone from the pull- down menu. The factory default zone is “*”. The * zone includes all other zones not listed by NEC 1765 software.
3.The Printer Administration window displays a list of all printers in the selected AppleTalk Zone that are configured to work with NEC 1765 software.
4.Click the Status Refresh button to update the printer list manually.
note: NEC 1765 software for AppleTalk displays AppleTalk zones and printers on the local network segment only. To see zones and printers on another side of a router or bridge run NEC 1765 software for AppleTalk on a computer in that segment of the network.
