NEC Warranty and Service
Your Silentwriter 1765 printer comes with a one-year
warranty. The 1765 printer also comes with a 90-day
onsite service agreement. The complete warranty and
repacking guidelines are provided in Appendix D. All
repair requests must be pre-qualified by calling NEC
Customer Service at 1-800-388-8888.

NEC Service Contracts

After the initial warranty period, fee-based technical
support and service is available. NEC Customer
Engineering and its dealers offer a complete range of
services ranging from onsite repairs and maintenance to
installation site planning. Several maintenance
agreement programs are available to meet your needs
and budget, including
• Onsite agreements on a yearly or multi-year basis
which ensure priority response from NEC
Customer Service and Support
• Volume onsite agreements that provide complete
maintenance agreement management services for
organizations with large numbers of NEC printers
• Per-incident repair services that include onsite
service, mail-in service, or carry-in service to a local
service dealer
