Printer Messages
The NEC 1765 software displays several printer messages. The following table lists those messages and their meanings.

Idle | The printer is operating normally and data receipt and printing are possible. |
Off line | The printer is not connected, the power is off, the printer is not connected correctly, or the |
| printer has been removed from Online status. |
Cover Open | The cover of the unit is open. |
Paper empty (Cassette 1) |

Warming Up | The printer is warming up. |
Busy | The printer is busy. |
Processing | The printer is processing a print request. |
Printing | The printer is printing. |
Engine Failure | There is a problem with the printer engine. |
Controller Failure | There is a problem with the printer controller. |
Not Responding | The printer is not responding. |
Searching | The utility is searching for printers. |
