Operational Warnings
For Vehicles with an Air
Bag
Donot place a portableradio product in the area
overthe air bag or in the airbag deployment area.
Airbags inflate with great force.If a portable radio
isplaced in the airbag deployment area andthe air
bag inflates, the radio product ma y be propelled
withgreat force and causeserious injury to
occupants of the vehicle .
Potentially Explosive Atmospheres
Turnoff your radio productprior to entering any
area with a potentially explosiv e atmosphere,
unless it is a radio product ty pe especially qualified
foruse in such areas as “IntrinsicallySafe” (for
example, Factory Mutual, CSA , orU La pproved).
Donot remove, install,or charge batteries insuch
areas.Sparks in a potentiallyexplosive
atmospherecan cause an explosionor fire
resultingin bodily injuryor even death.
