Getting Started

Tolock the keypad:

1From the idle screen, pr ess m.

2Press*.

Ifyou press a key while thekeypad is locked,

instructions for unlocking th e keypad display

briefly.

Tounlock the keypad:

1From the idle screen, pr ess m.

2Press*.

Whilethe keypad is locked,you can respond to

incomingcalls, messages,and alerts just as you

do when the keypad is not locked. Whe n finished,

presseto return to the idle scre en. The keypad

remains locked.

Youalso have the optionof setting your phone to

automaticallylock thekeypad if there has been no

activityfor a specifiedtime.

1Fromthe main menu, select Settings >

Security> KeypadLo ck.

2Tolock thekeypad immediately,select Lock

Now.Youwill be given the option to pressmand

*tolock and unlock the keypad.

3Toset a specific t ime for the keypad to lock if

there has been no activity, scroll to Auto Lock

and press Aunder Change.

The keypad can be set to lock in 5, 10, 15 or 20

minutesif the keypad is nottouched during the

specifiedtime.To turn the auto lock off,repeat step

3andselectOff.
